Things to do in Marrakech by day: a day by the lake
At KM 12 on the Ourika Road, Beach Mama works at your pace: a pool day with a sunbed, just lunch without one, a match with friends or a group day out. Here is how to plan your day.
Four ways to spend the day
The pool day, 10 am to 9 pm
Arrive at opening time, with a sunbed booked for two, swim in the pool heated to around 29–30 °C, have lunch whenever you like between 12 noon and 6 pm, then enjoy the late afternoon by the lake.
- Sunbeds from 600 to 1,200 MAD for two depending on the area, +300 MAD for a third guest (3 guests maximum per bed)
- Towel, showers and a secure luggage area included; food and drinks from the menu
- Sunbed held for 20 minutes after the booked time, until 2:30 pm at the latest
- Choose your sunbed on the plan
Lunch without a sunbed, 12 noon to 6 pm
Not in the mood for the pool? Just come for lunch, with no entry fee and no minimum spend: the Mediterranean kitchen serves all afternoon, so there is time for a late lunch after a morning in town. A table does not include pool access.
- See the menu online
- Booking a table on WhatsApp is a good idea; the team confirms it
A match with friends
Football matches are shown on a giant screen. Check with the team that your match will be shown, book a table and plan to eat before 6 pm, when the kitchen closes.
- Football at Beach Mama
- Bar open until 9 pm
As a group or for an occasion
Hen or stag party, birthday, company day out: grouped sunbeds, a group lunch, music and extras are arranged on request, with a quote.
- Hen, stag and birthday parties
- Corporate events and team building
- Wakeboarding, water-skiing or paddleboarding at WAKY next door, which sets its own prices

The pool itself is booked with a sunbed. To be sure of a table, send your request on WhatsApp.
Can we just come for a drink?
Yes. The big bar is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm, no sunbed needed: signature cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee, from the menu. The pool itself is booked with a sunbed. See the restaurant and bar.
Can you swim in Marrakech in November, December or January?
Yes: Beach Mama’s outdoor pool is heated all year round to around 29–30 °C (indicative), including from November to February. The beach club is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm; the air can be cooler late in the day, so bring something warm. A pool day is booked with a sunbed for two, from 600 MAD.
What are the opening hours?
The beach club is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm. The bar keeps the same hours, and the kitchen serves all afternoon, from 12 noon to 6 pm. The reservations team answers from 9 am to 8 pm (Morocco time), on WhatsApp or on +212 6 19 27 29 45.
How much is a sunbed?
Prices are per bed for two guests: Marbella 600 MAD, Bali 800 MAD, Ibiza 1,000 MAD, VIP 1,200 MAD. A third guest adds 300 MAD (3 guests maximum per bed). The sunbed price is an access fee: it is not deducted from food and drinks, which are paid from the menu.
Can we watch a football match?
Yes, football matches are shown on a giant screen. For a specific match, check with the team that it will be shown and book your table on WhatsApp. The kitchen serves from 12 noon to 6 pm; the bar from 10 am to 9 pm. See football at Beach Mama.
Can we bring children?
Yes, there is no minimum age. No children’s area or children’s activities are offered on this site: children stay under their parents’ supervision, especially around the pool. There is music every day, and some afternoons are livelier. For a sunbed, tell us how many adults and children are coming: the team will confirm the price.
Do you offer transport from Marrakech?
Transport can be looked into on request only: it is neither included nor a regular service. Give us the pick-up place, date, time and number of guests: the team will tell you whether it is possible and on what terms.
